Nest in Retrograde

The Goal: a fresh take on timeless retro charm!
This kitchen, breakfast nook, and living room renovation was designed to feel chic, elevated, and undeniably fun! The home was transformed with all-new finish materials, including a custom terrazzo tile floor laid flush with the refinished original wood flooring for a seamless transition.
Custom crafted and stained cabinet fronts update the kitchen millwork, featuring new wood paneling, concealed upper cabinetry, and new selected countertop, sink, and fixtures. An integrated pantry door disappears seamlessly into the surrounding millwork, keeping the space streamlined and intentional.
The living room received a fully new stone, double-sided fireplace with custom mantels on each side, along with updated custom millwork TV cabinet to match the new breakfast nook millwork.
The result is a layered mix of refined materials, warm wood tones, playful details, and retro-inspired moments upgraded and luxurious, and never too serious!
